Powerful Tips to Help You Drop 10 Fat Pounds!

I’m pretty sure you’ve noticed all the diet programs, articles, courses and products out there on the digital or brick and mortar market at any given time.   Next time you go to the grocery store, look at all the magazines strategically positioned at the checkout line that tell you what you need to know on how to lose weight.

Weight loss is a huge, huge business.  But think about it.  If just ONE of these programs really did work, wouldn't everyone get on it?  And wouldn't that be the end of our national "obesity epidemic?"

But as you and I both know, that just isn't happening… it’s actually getting worse.  In fact, every issue of every social niche periodical, as well as the tabloid papers, feature some kind of a new diet, or the latest and greatest celebrity program, or some article in which a famous person or an actor or actress has the best "beach body" and the secrets as to how they "got" it.  Yeah, right.


But, there really does exist a simple, easy, scientific equation that governs all weight loss.  And it's this:  When energy intake is exceeded by energy output, the difference is the amount of fat you burn. And fat burned, plus trapped water weight, equals weight loss.  That’s it!  How simple is that?  Very!

All the diets that ever were, or ever will be, regardless of their mechanism, adhere to that simple equation.  There are NO exceptions. The rest is all in the silly little details. The bottom line truly is:

Now, if you use any program that starves your body, you WILL burn muscle as well as fat, up to 50% of muscle!  That's NOT good, because the more muscle mass you have, the more energy you burn, at rest and during activity.  This means that the entire low calorie, low fat, high carb programs tend to reduce your muscle mass as they reduce your weight.  All of them!  No exceptions.  But especially the more extreme programs, like the dangerous Simeone HCG diet (only 500 calories a day).   These boost insulin production when you DO eat those carbs, which hangs around, adding FAT whenever it can… and making you HUNGRY… very hungry and very weak.  Sure, you may lose weight but at what cost?  And how long does the weight loss last?  I can tell you, not long!

By contrast, higher protein, low carbohydrate diets work best by forcing the body to spend energy to generate usable carbs, which is… glucose. And the protein intake spares muscle, so you may lose only 5%, not 50%.

That's a TEN times difference. And such high protein, low carb diets tend to kill your appetite, so you're not feeling continually hungry, which is how most diets eventually fail.  And they suppress insulin, while increasing glucagon production (which is how they kill your appetite).

To get you started, here are a few powerful and simple tips that will help you drop a few pounds, ten or more without much effort.

1.  Drink plenty of water, first thing in the morning and before every meal and protein snack.  Make it COLD water by putting some ice cubes in it.  Doing this will ramp up your metabolism, passively, without any effort on your part.  It just happens, about 15 minutes after you drink.
