Movie: "Feed the Fish"

Louann and I LOVED this movie!

We give this FIVE Stars out of five! because it left us smiling with moments that are fun to reflect back on!

It's funny, has several "laugh out loud" scenes, romantic, redemptive, and just downright makes you feel good.  The acting is excellent, the cast is perfect, the script is solid, the scenary is pretty, the soundtrack is beautiful, and the directing is among the best.  If there are any "flaws" in this movie, we didn't notice nor would we care.

I'd shared these thoughts about the movie on Facebook and a classmate from Palmer College quickly responded that she's from the town where the movie was mostly filmed around.  She knows the writer/directors who are from that area.  How cool is that!?  Here's what she posted to me on Facebook:

Elizabeth Newman Jorgenson, DC wrote (02/03/11): "Hey, Dr. Joe - that movie was filmed in my home town of Ellison Bay, WI. (and parts throughout our county). The restaurant is next door to my mom's store, which you also see in the movie. Ice fishing scenes out where I swam as a kid! When... they began to film, we went through a heat wave, melting a lot of the snow, so they had to adapt some of their scenes to areas in the county where there was more snow. The polar bear plunge kept changing locations and days - who would have thought we'd have a problem in the winter.  I wish we would get a heatwave now, altho - we missed this last storm - feel blessed to have only gotten ~6". Really happy you enjoyed the movie - will let them know when we see Michael or Tony this summer that we heard from the state of Texas!
