About Dr. Joe

Joe Willis Fawcett III was born (3/22/50) and raised in Sherman, Texas.   He graduated from Sherman High in ‘68.  

He received his Radiological Technology certificate at El Centro College in ‘72.  

He met Louann Boese of Fresno, California while both were students at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas.   They were married by her father, Lewis Boese, in ‘74 in Fresno at the Bethany Mennonite Brethren Church.

He played varsity football, served on the Student Council, Senior Class President, and graduated from Tabor in ‘75, with a social science degree (BA) with honors from the history department.  

He did his premedical studies at North Texas State University in Denton, Texas while working full time as a Radiological Technologist at the Grapevine Memorial Hospital.  

He started Chiropractic school in ‘80, and was the outstanding graduate of ‘84 having received the prestigious John Connolly Award from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa and listed in the 1984 Who’s Who of American Students in Colleges and Universities.  

He practiced as a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in the Central Valley of California from January ‘85, until July ‘01, when he retired.  

Dr. Joe is a Board Eligible Chiropractic Orthopedist, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), and a Cooper Institute Certified Personal Trainer.  

During the time he was a full time practicing doctor, his hobby was professional acting.  He appeared in numerous television commercials as the spokesman for many different products.  In 1997, he and Alan Autry ("In the Heat of the Night"-  he played "Bubba") started "Dirt Road Productions" and "The Actor's Workshop".  Dr. Joe worked with football coach John Baxter for ten months to produce and direct Baxter's highly regarded "Academic GamePlan".  Dr. Joe was also a much in demand print model for Gottschalk Department Stores.

Dr. Joe is the author of “From Grief to Glory – When a Father Loses a Child” (Dr. Joe survived the car crash that their 16 year old son, Jack died in.  The e-book is available from here - type in the title or Dr. Joe Fawcett III.), “Eternal Night” the book and movie script (a frightening fictional account of spiritual warfare), “Wellness in the Word” (his biblical interpretation of health and wellness), "Five Things that Could be Killing You and Your Family" (the five most common things that are toxins in your everyday life and what you can do about them) and his latest "The Keeping Room Journey" (a powerful personal inventory tool for the body, soul and spirit that helps a person to easily measure 16 aspects of their life in order to keep their life "balanced" and therefore healthy).  

He also wrote, produced, directed and co-stars in the highly acclaimed short film based on a true story about spiritual warfare regarding teenagers, “DemonHunter”.
