Trans-Fattiest Mexican Food Award

Trans-Fattiest Mexican Food Award Goes to:
Baja Fresh Charbroiled Steak Nachos
4.5 g trans fat
2,120 calories
118 g fat (44 g saturated)
2,990 mg sodium

All Baja Fresh nachos come served with heaping piles of Jack and cheddar cheeses, beans, pico de gallo, your choice of meat, and a complete overload of trans fat. Even if you share this plate of nachos as an appetizer with quarto amigos, you'll each consume more than your daily allowance of trans fat and more than 500 calories - that's as much as a reasonable sandwich should offer. And whoever heard of having a sandwich before your meal?

Yes, I know that the picture below of inviting nachos is a feast for hungry eyes and salivating taste buds, BUT... consider what it'll do to your waist line (saturated fat) and your heart (excessive sodium).  Can you eat just a couple of the chips loaded with the nacho stuff?  If you can, then go for it, BUT realize that what goes in, stays in unless you get it out with exercise.
